Three Tangent Tuesday

I'm going to start following in the footsteps of some of the cool blogs I read and post my workouts here.  I think it is good motivation for both my blogging and workout habits!

Workout:
  • Started P90X with Scotty last night.  (Like he needs it with all that Air Force stuff) but it was a lot of fun and HARD work!  sweat central.
  • Watched the Bachelor this morning while riding my bike w/the cool trainer my father in law let me borrow:

I have no idea if this is the same one, but its similar.
I think I need a different seat though.  Everybody has told me since I bought the bike that I would get used to it, but even when I was riding ALL the time, I hated it.  anybody have a cool seat they love they want to donate to the cause? ;)

In lieu of the half marathon training, the couch 2 5k program is where I'm starting right now.  After that I'll pick up one of those 12 week training programs from either nike plus or marathonrookie.  I counted it up, and FROM TODAY, the DL 1/2 marathon is 33 weeks & 5 days away (That leaves ample time to get through both programs and finish some school, right?)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's see if I am cool enough to remember to do this every Tuesday as I was challenged to do do :)

First: I LOVE when my old friends who are cool and moved away contact me just to say hi!  One of my BEST friends from high school contacted me this week and it definitely helped the day/week go by much happier.

Fun Fact: this is 9th grade.  My husband is in this pic too :)  We sure were young back then!

Second: I COULD EAT NUTELLA FOREVER.  I know its not very good for me, and don't even look at the nutrition label (you might cry), but it is SO yummy.  Sure, it is good on stuff like toast, but a true lover eats it straight off the spoon.  I'm sure my being able to do that comes from the fact that I love condiments--and if its anything like arby's sauce I could eat it straight from the package. (sorry if thats gross, but it is true).

He understands...

Third: I picked the most un-Christmas-y looking cookie jar we have to hold the candy we want guests to eat. We have a few cookie jars, but one is a jack-o-lantern, one is a ginger bread house, and one is a harry & david bear holding a package to be mailed:

Cool present from mi madre!
